Hi,
My two young sons are wanting to sell ps2 games that they no longer use. Could anyone please advise the best place to do this, also would they be better off selling or trading them in.
Many thanks

erm shops where you can go to get the best trades are GAME and Gamestation.
hmv, blockbuster and a few other shops trade games in but they wont be as high value as game and gamestation..
selling games will result in a drop ion the trade in value, and being that they are ps2 games the trade value will not be that high any ways so you could end up being left with like 2 pound cash, so i would advise you to stick to trade, or Ebay for selling.
hope i helped0 -
Both the trade in and resale value is going to be very, very low maybe down to as little as 75p per game so if they are top titles then ebay, if not they're going to be as good as worthless.0

Actually Blockbuster offer the best Trade in value on the high street.
you won't get a better price for either Cash or Store Credit anywhere else, apart from online.0 -
ebay's good, but if you don't want the hastle then if there's a CEX store near you then they pay cash for very near to the keepable part of an ebay sale for most ps2 and xbox games. trust me, i've spent faarrr too long keeping records of this. :money: there's the odd one or two that go for loads (katamari, star wars, gta games) and cex don't pay as much for, but you could at least check before taking things in
either ebay's completed listings or cex.co.uk. note cex will give you from around 1/3 extra to double in voucher value, but they also tend to sell stuff around 1/3 to twice as much as you can pick the same thing up on ebay, so it's a bit of a gamble really unless you really have your eye on something there.
best part is though they'll take owt, however scratched and just stick it in a re-surfacer if needed. down side is they seem to all use some make that does a terrible job (discs come out more scratched than they went in) so if you're buying discs from there you'll get a lot of tat. gamestation use Venmill machines which do a much better job if you ever need it.0 -
gamestation...I'm off with my 2 lads tomorrow with the latest bag full of trade-ins..ps2, ps3, xbox 360 and nintendo ds all represented...then look in the used 4 for £10 sections to maximise playability for your trade-in value.........Gettin' There, Wherever There is......
I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple0
