Hi,
Because my desktop keeps switching itself on and off (see other thread!) I can't use it to get online and check my AOL email account.
I've been trying to log in to AOL using my laptop but I keep getting an error page - the title bar says something about being unauthorised.
I used to have no problems accessing AOL from the laptop - I use Mozilla and had AOL stored as a bookmark - one click and I got straight on buy now it just won't work at all.
I would be eternally grateful for any suggesions on how to fix this.
Many thx.

AOL had a network outage yesterday 1300 - 1600 hrs . It brought up the same message. Could not get my system back up again so rang them on 08444995555 where after a few security questions it was quickly sorted. Saynoto0870 has an alternative number 01179191100.
The timing could not have been better. The September copy of Which arrived yesterday and AOL did not fare well in the ISP survey. Their connection reliability was bottom of the pile although to be fair my own experience with them has been very good over the last two years.0 -
Hi,
I've tried going through Internet Explorer to get to AOL on my laptop and that will work fine but it still won't work through Mozilla (which is what I use daily).
I think the problem is even when I type in just the url "www.aol.com" it automatically remembers a load of other stuff after this, a long string of stuff which includes "...&errorIfUnauth=1&siteState....".
Is there any way in Mozilla that I can stop it automatically going back to this page and just go instead to the Aol sign in home page?
Many thx in advance.0
