thats a silly way of doing it to be honest
look at some form of web based email or use imap etc?The orginal post in this thread has a very very slim chance of being about money saving. The post is more than likely to ask a question that google could answer better than any of us.0 -
yea, is a stupid way of doing it, try looking into synchronise software.
IF you really wanted to do it, then just move the PST file to your pen drive, when outlook complains its gone missing show it where it is. (IE the pen drive).
You would have to make sure your drive was inserted BEFORE you started outlook everytime though. But try taking d900's advice first.Rules, Rules, Rules .....0 -

Sorry for not replying sooner been snowed under at work. I can access my email from any pc and we have a web based application as well. The problem is we have a size limit on our inboxes, you normally get a warning when there is roughly 1000 emails in the box. I can receive 100 emails a day, a lot of them I have to keep to refer back to. The inbox quickly becomes full then stops receiving mail. Only solution I know to this is to store them on PST file. Even then I believe there is a 2GB limit on them.Smile and be happy, things can usually get worse!0
