Vouchers, MOCs & Deals - value if lost?

A quick question for RM experts -

I am going to put on some converted Tesco Clubcard Deal tokens (pre-name). If they got lost in the post, would I be able to claim for the value they sold at?

I'm also thinking about money-off coupons etc.

Thanks in advance,

Floxxie

The only safe way of doing this is using special delivery with consequential loss insurance added. .

    Hi Soolin,

Re using SD - do you mean this is the only method to prove delivery or do you mean that I wouldn't be able to claim from RM if the vouchers went astray using 1st or 2nd classs?

Anything that is treated as 'money' ie tickets vouchers etc are not covered in standard mail (and that includes recorded) against loss, the Royal mail state that these types of items, plus jewellery must go special delivery.
