Breville Kettles :(

Options
I have had my second breville lightning kettle for 8 months and now this one is now leaking from the bottom. Its hardly worth getting the money back as I bought it from amazon and not sure I still have the receipt but does anyone know of a good decent kettle that does not leak from the bottom.

Do not buy a breville kettle they always leak - anyone else have this problem?

  • There is only one way to make a decent cup of tea. Get a whistling kettle and put it on the stive. I have had mine for near darn twenty odd years.

And use real tea leaves as well.
  • Your amazon account keeps track of all your purchases!

Click on "your account" at the top right hand corner. Click on "track packages" and then "orders placed in ____" (whenever you ordered the item), then you can contact amazon and see if they'll send a replacement

I've had the same problem with a Breville iron - I think all they're good for is sandwich toasters lol, as they can't leak!
  • Just found the receipt - I actually bought it from tesco direct in feb this year, rang them up, now got to take it back to the rossendale tesco direct near me at weekend and get a refund or replacement. Sorted. It was only £27 but think I will buy a cheaper and different brand.
