Which Student Account for 2008/09

This is really not a new thread but I hope someone can advise me.
My daughter will start her 2nd year at Uni. Up until now she has had an ordinary account at Yorkshire Bank, but reading the forum I think she will be far better opening a student account. She is on a bursary and has part time work so does not need overdraft facilities (yes I know she is lucky!) but I read with interest Martins tip on using the free overdraft and putting money into a savings account. She already has a savings account with Nat West and would like to use another bank for her current account. She has all the large branches nearby and is an internet user. My main question is 'is a student account more beneficial than a non-student account?' and if so which would be the best one for her, discluding Nat West. I assume she has got a credit score due to her other accounts and she doesn't want freebies.
Thanks:rotfl:
