Hi I was wondering where your H2Bs will be night before the wedding? Is it tradition that they dont see us on the morning, night before or actually in our dresses before the ceremony?? I really dont want him to stay away the night before. He can disappear for a couple of hours the next day with our daughter whilst I get ready and then bring her back and hand her to one of the bms. He could then go and get ready himself somewhere - dont know where though!!

Hiya I would say sod tradition and do whatever is practical for you.
I stayed with my BMs the night before (had girly evening with pizza mmm) and my hubby was with bestman, in morning I did speak to him on phone (as I was stressing about wedding venue) but didn't actually see him until I walked down the aisle.
Tradition is normally not to see him night before or on the morning.
Can he not stay with his bestman, parents?0

My H2B will be staying with his parents the night before whilst I get to stay in our house
Do whatever suits you and your family, we don't have any kids to worry about (just a dog!). As far as I know tradition says that he shouldn't see you in your dress before the wedding, so I guess most people choose to stay away the whole night as its easier??0

We don't live together yet (he does stay a bit tho) but we get a complimentary room the night before the wedding and OH is having that while I stay home with 4 of the bridesmaids... We have a couple of weddingy themed films to watch and will probably have a take away, should be good!A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

My OH is staying at our house with his ushers and best men while I am staying at his parents with my chief BM as that is where we are getting ready before the wedding. My other BM's will join us there in the morning.
We will then be returning to OH parents for our reception in a marquee which I am really looking forward to.Weight loss so far 1st 12 1/2 lbs:j

We're both spending the night at home (unless we've moved away in which case we'll be in a hotel together, I'm looking for a new job so it is possible), I've told him he's probably best out of the way when it gets all girlie but I really don't mind having him around. Still not decided on the whole walking up the aisle thing and with whom, it gets a bit political in my family...
Basically, do what you want!Got married 23rd May 2009, many thanks to all on the Weddings and Anniversaries board for their help and support!

MsChazzer - if things are political in your family - walk up the aisle on your own.
 Hope everyone has fabulous days.0

I am booting mine and his best man out the night before the wedding. We have a rehersal at the church at 7pm the evening before and once that is done he is off with his best man to a local travel inn. I am having the house with my girls 0 0

I'll be staying at my parents the night before the wedding, and my OH will either be staying at my sisters, or in a hotel. We are getting married back in my home town and not where we live now, so niether of us will be at home... We are having an afternoon wedding so there would be no reason really why OH couldn't stay at home and just travel over on the morning, but I worry too much about things that could happen on the journey over so would rather have him there the night before!0

My OH is staying in a hotel the night before the wedding then we are going back there the night of the wedding, they gave us a discount as we were booking two nights and getting married.0
