Paying in money abroad? Need help...

Hi there,

Not sure if this is the right place for it - dont really use the banking section much but have a question.

I need to pay some money into my Visa Electron Card Current Account in Spain. There is a Halifax local to me and just wondering if I could pay in any money to it. Could I pay Euros into my GBP account? Would there be a fee?

    If you have a UK bank account, put the money in there (in £s) and then ask them to transfer it to your bank in Spain- there are various ways they can do this, some faster than others. There will be a charge dependeng upon which of these you use.

    The Co-Op Bank charge £8 for their service which takes 5-7days.
