Irons......?guarantee

Does anyone know how long an iron should be under guarantee please? This is a Philips GC2520 bought at Savacentre just under 2 years ago. I have found the receipt and the instyructions but nothing is there about the guarantee time period.
I have emailed Philips but it can take about 4 days for a reply and might be nearly out of date!
