Best card for BT with higher Credit Limits

hi all,

i have gone through a few of the threads and couldn't find what I was looking for.

for someone with a Good Credit history, which is the best CC to apply for a BT. i'm hoping to get the best higher limit.
Salary 45K +, in stable employment for > 4 years
no other Credits or loans at present, 3 CC at present
not a home owner, renting privately
No CCJ or defaults on other CC's

I'm not comforatble applying for the Cpital one after reading the messages here. I would like to get the highest possible limit atleast for a peiod of 6 months.

just wanted to add that I have gone through the post for checking the credit scoring in this forum. all I want to know is what people have experienced in terms of getting the highest Credit limit when applied for the first time. thanks
