anyone on here that has gotten a 'Essentials Tariff ' from another company apart from British Gas, have enquired with Scottishpower and they dont do any :-(
so looking for advice from anyone who has changed to another company offering a 'Essentials Tariff' .
I see that EDF have Energy Assist which gives households a 15% discount on current standard tariff prices?
which seems quite a bit of help off bills
thankyou

looking at energywatch.org
its so confusing :-)
under best deals it comes back with scottish power as cheaper than Scottish and Southern Energy and EDF Energy
so would putting them on the 'Specialist Tariffs' save them any money if its showing up less at the moment with scottish power?0 -
Scottish & Southern Energy, which has 8.8 million UK customers, is raising gas prices by 29.2% and average electricity costs by 19.2% from Monday.
cant see how now the 'Specialist Tariffs' would save them any money ?0 -

Southern have stated that Energyplus Care customers will have no increase in prices untill early 2009 and it will still be 20% cheaper than their standard tarrif !
They have also stated their intention to increase the total of Energyplus Care customers to at least 100,000 by 2009 .
Current Energyplus Care Tariffs to early 2009 are on this previous thread
