Or just entertain yourself by shattering pieces of stale bread on your kids' heads. Hours of fun on a wet Sunday afternoon
Now that is cheap entertainment. Nothing to stop you picking up the crumbs off the deck and whizzing them up for the stuffing.
God im hungry now! Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
Oh come on lads you need to head over to Oldstyling.
Living without a freezer- it just means WASTE! What do you do with stale bread? Stale cheese?
Or are you so organised it never comes to this
Eat it before it goes stale.
Cheese goes into a cheese sauce when it's too hard to eat, or onto Pizzas etc.
Stale bread goes to toast, or bread and butter pudding.Happy chappy0 -
I buy one 400g loaf of bread a week (my bf has coeliac's so it's only me eating it). Most of it gets eaten over the weekend, anything left comes to work for toast for breakfast.
Why are we talking about cheese? Who freezes cheese?
I do now have a fridge freezer - there was space in my current flat and my mum had one going spare. But the freezer is three quarters empty lol. The only thing in it is ice cream, chicken breasts bought on multi-buy and frozen portions of things like curry where I cook a large batch at a time so I have some easy dinners during the week. That used to fit in my ice box no problem. I don't think a fridge freezer is a necessity.0 -
The photographer looks like he/she ducked to photo the kitchen....no seriously.
BTW 'cute small flat/house' and £140k are like chalk and cheese if you ask me.0 -

Either that or held the camera in front of their crotch!!:D
If I knew someone really tall, I'd love to get them to arrange a viewing, do you think they'd fit in there with the EA?A minute at the till, a lifetime on the bill.
Nothing tastes as good as being slim feels.

Mayube you should cram your freezer with icecubes.....this being a money saving forum a full freezer is cheaper to run.
Its perfectly !!!!ible to live without lots of things! (I've lived without a fridge for a while too) but a freezer can be very useful. As it is I like having stuff in the frrezer. For example....its the village fete this weekend and I'm donating stuff for the cake stall and afternoon teas. I've been able to bake some stuff in advance and will lift it out on Saturday (family freezer). Also left overs...soups, lasagne etc etc, but of course cheese! Especially parmesan, which DH used to bring home in HUGE chunks and then we break into more user friendly chunks and chuck in the freezer then grab a bit as needed.0 -
So instead of having a freezer, you guys go to the shops every couple of day to buy a small amount of fresh food?
Insane.. I hate shops, much rather buy a months worth and freeze it!0 -
I call in at the shop on way home from work about once a week.Happy chappy0

Blimey with 3 growing lads, a freezer IS a necessity for me!We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -
How did we survive when most people had a fridge with a small shoe box sized ice compartment?Happy chappy0
