Credit Card Balance Transfer - same bank?

 ;) Can anyone give me some advice. I understand that you cannot transfer a credit card balance between cards supported by the same banking organisation e.g. from Mint to RBS, but if you have already transferred the balance from one banking organisation to the other can you then transfer to balance to the same banking organisation again e.g. Mint to HSBC to RBS. If anyone understands my question and can answer it that would be very helpful. Thanks for any replies.

Yes, that's an allowed and quite a straightforward thing to do.
