Apparently, they have had problems with photocopies so it's back to colour printing again for me. Shame about the photocopies - Tesco lose out because they can't redeem them - shame for me because I was saving on coloured ink. Anyway, just thought I'd update my previous post.
Don't know if it will help but I was encouraged by a friend to buy the colour ink refills from Tesco (priced around £6.97 I think). I tried this and have so far refilled my cartridge 8 times and it still seems to be going strong. The instructions say you can refill up to 6 times but mine still seems to be working. The ink that I have left in the original pack that I bought is still three quarters full so I am very happy having saved a fortune on not buying a new cartridge!0 -

Gratefulone, please accept my unreserved apologies.........I was up way past my bed time after a bad day and should have wound my neck in!!
I now realise that YOU meant no offence and both MY tone and vocabulary were uncalled for.

Has anyone else had problems in Tescos with the Mitchum £1.50 coupon?
I used this voucher a couple of weeks ago without any problem (didn't buy the product), but tonight my DH was going to pick a few bits up and I talked him into taking a few MOCS that run out tomorrow (bless him he's not right keen on using them himself), anyway thought I would chuck a Mitchum one in, and he came back and said that they took them all apart from the Mitchum. He says that the SA tried to scan it, and then tried to manually input it, but then said to him "you have to buy the product to use this one".
Thought this was weird, cos surely if it wouldn't scan or input manually (it did scan ok a couple of weeks ago) then they won't take the coupon anyway will they regardless of whether you buy the product?
Shame if they have stopped taking these ones.

Below is a copy of the email I got from Tesco Customer Service at the end of July.

Thank you for your email.
I have detailed below some information on the acceptance of coupons in our stores which I hope will help you.
All Tesco specific coupons display the Tesco logo. We'll only accept these at the till if you buy the product shown on the coupon at the time.
We're happy to accept a non-Tesco product coupon even if you don't buy the item. But, the coupon must be in date and Tesco must sell the product. If you present more than one identical coupon you need to purchase the same number of products. This also includes coupons printed from the Internet, but these will only be accepted at the discretion of the Store Manager.
I hope this has helped to explain things for you.
Thank you for taking the time to contact us.:j Debt free since 31/01/08:j
