Egg anniversary SBT

Hello fellow stoozers. I've been stoozing for around a year starting with an Egg card then transfering the balance just before the 0% expired.

Now I've been offered the anniversary deal with Egg. I have a £15000 credit limit. Can I use this to do a SBT into my offset mortgage as I did in the first year?

Thanks in advance.

Oh yes indeed. Last time I checked the anniversary offer runs for 5 months on the anniversary of the birth of your card, aaaggghhh.....how sweet

Just make sure you completely clear the balance beforehand to ensure you do not pay interest

15K is about as high as you can get on EGG. Well done!

According to my online area, it will only allow 95% of credit limit to be BT'd - is this correct?

    Many thanks

I have done subsequent BT's of 95% of the remaining 5% on several occasions during my introductory period.

As far as I know, the mechanisms are the same during the anniversary month.

Remember though, that if you're out to get the maximum possible, the minimum BT is £100.

All been said many times before of course, but points to note include..

Only transfer in the FIRST month

Set direct debit to MINIMUM as soon as the balance goes on

Repay outstanding amount by DEBIT CARD [after preloading your bank account as required] on LAST day of promo

I sbt'd my egg card last year (£6k) just done the anniversary transfer and I upped my credit limit to £12k! WooHoo.
I'd not spent on the card or used it for anything other than the original SBT.

    Nice

How are you supposed to know when your anniversary is? As the instructions seem to be that you need to do the SBT "on the anniversary of the account's opening date", does this mean it has to be done on that one day of the year?
I've never been 'offered' a 0% transfer by Egg. A look in my account on their website has no details about it at all. It appears I can do a balance transfer, but says nothing about 0%... it doesnt mention any % at all.

Logon to Egg. Goto your credit card area and look for "Egg Card Anniversary Offer" within the "Features & Tools" section.

If you have any problems or want to find out when your anniversary month starts give them a call.

You do not have to to the balance transfer on the actual anniversary day itself, that's just when the 5 months 0% free period starts

But you do have to SBT or BT in the anniversary month
