Just wondered if anyone had any idea how long it takes to be issued with fine/points etc if caught by a camera on a traffic light. (red light).

The RK then has 28 days to return the form, either confirming they were the driver, or nominating another person who was driving. In the latter case, the nominated driver will get their own NIP and another 28 days.
Once the driver identity has been established, an offer of a fixed penalty may be made, which means if they accept, they send off a £60 cheque plus licence for endorsement with 3 points.
If the driver chooses not to accept the fixed penalty, and wants to contest the evidence, court proceedings must be initiated within 6 months of the incident.
