    Hi,

have you tried contacting FENSA direct. They dont take kindly to rogue tradesmen in my experience.

    Hope this helps.

I have not tried FENSA yet as i have gave the installer the benefit of the doubt.
But maybe i should ring them.

ye i will do its very frustating waiting for the paper work to come through as the installer did a good job but he is letting himself down with the admin side
  • on installations we have carried out i have known fensa to take 6-8 weeks to send certificates out.this is because the installer informs fensa who then inform local authority then the certificate is sent out.
if you think peoples advice is helpfull please take the time to clicking the thank you button it gives great satisfaction
  • I had 5 PVC windows installed in November last year, my FENSA cert has still not arrived. This post has just reminded me to chase this up. Thanks.

I have contacted FENSA and all that the lady would say was the installer should send in the paper work for each installation within 20 days of completion and that i should contact him again.

    Just a quick update.
On friday i received a letter from the BBA independent inspector saying that they would like to come and ensure that my recent installation complies with the building regulation and that my fensa certificate would follow in 3-4 weeks time.
