Yes, the Life is Beautiful virus hoax is over three years old now... (Apparently the first virus hoax came out in 1988!).
The website also has some good information on how to spot a virus hoax, and Googling for "virus hoax" comes up with lots of antivirus firms' websites dealing with this area.
And of course there's the ancient but still amusing Gullibility Virus!
