mobile phone 'download failed communication error' message

just dug out my old Sony ericcson K750i to use as lost my newer phone:mad:
put a replacemnt sim in and now if i get sent a picture message it starts to open it then says 'download failed communication error please try later' any suggestions, other than trying later? been trying every couple of hours since yesterday so im guessing something is actually up, not just a network problem
