its an oldie but a goodie!
I fancied playing this game, but now I have an XP SP2 system, it doesnt work. It worked fine on my old system, can anyone suggest any tips?
Ive tried searching the forum, and compatability mode and still no luck..
Anyone? Really wanna play this game

Go into C:\WINDOWS\REPAIR you will see a file called AUTOEXEC.NT copy that file to C:WINDOWS/SYSTEM32 and it should work fine.

EDIT: when I try to launch the game, it starts the dvd drive spinning, then does nothing. (this isnt a copy its a proper version)
The Sc3.exe shows in task manager but then goes again.embarrassed to say I used to work for barclays..sorry0 -
sorry, i should have said. If i put the cd in, the autoplay window comes up, but cliking on "play" does nothing :-( However I launch it the same happens.

ok, yeh i know about that stuff. Im pretty techie, but sometimes i get stumped. However, I did find the solution, after talking to you it occurd to me.
It was a problem with my cd for whatever reason, however, it now works, but im not sure im allowed to post how i fixed it...

no worries, it is a fix for 3000 as well, but just notfor me.
Talk to you lead me to the fix anyway :-)
