New Kitchen Sink

I currently have a kitchen sink with 2 separate hot and cold taps that come through the work surface separate from the actual sink. I want to get a new sink installed with a mixer tap that comes up through the actual sink unit like all modern sinks. Will I be left with 2 holes in the work surface from the old taps or can you get new sinks that will cover these old holes? Looks like I may need to get a whole new work surface too. :(

Depends how big your old sink is Lee. If it's fairly narrow, front to back, then the hole you'd need to cut for a modern sink might cover the original holes.

What are the dimensions of the sink and the depth of your current worktop?
