Transfer Credit Card Balance

Can anyone out there confirm whether you can transfer a credit card balance from your partners account to your own new credit card account or does it have to be done under the same name. Many thanks. :question:

yes you can transfer to another named card holder, we did this earlier this year as my Oh gets a much bigger credit balance than I do, so used some of his 0% balance to clear one of my 0% cards that was due to run out.
You only need to give the card number you want the balance transferred to.
