My biggest win on a Sad Day for me...

My loyal dog of 14 years died suddenly this morning and we are all so upset and my three kids are devasted. My husband took her to the vet on his way to work so she could be cremated.

An hour after he left I had a call on my mobile to tell me I was a runner up in the Pizza Hut competition http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=925055&highlight=pizza+hut

I have won a PS3 and a Fifa 08 game. It was a very weird call as I answered the call really upset. It is very strange to get bad news and good news all in one day.

My kids have been asking for a PS3 for ages and ages. I would have usually not told them and kept it for Xmas but thought it may cheer them up. It didn't but I am sure in a few days time when it arrives they will be very happy.

Awww really sorry to hear your news ClarkeEJ. It is hard when pets die

I honestly swear big comp wins quite often go to where they are needed, and as you say in a few days time it will be something to take the kids minds off it a little.

well they say things balance out, but a loyal dog is a sad loss,im sure the kids will buck up on the day it arrives congrats on your win.
