All radiators staying cold?

Hello,
Turned on the central heating yesterday, and nothing happened. All the radiators are cold. No noise, nothing! Set it to come on this morning, and still nothing.
The boiler is working fine, giving plenty of hot water. It's a Glow-worm with a hot water tank upstairs.
Does anyone have any suggestions to try before I have to call someone out?
Thanks in advance,
Goose.

I would have thought that the pump is stuck ,try tapping the pump to see if it frees, to change it means draining down the heating (unless it has those isolator valves either side)...not the hardest job in the world
or possibly an airlock, try bledding some air outEx forum ambassador

Thanks, you're a star! Jumped on the landing above where the pump is (tried it before taking up the carpets and floorboards), and now we have heating!0

Hi,
I once had the same problem, somebody had turned wall thermostat down.
Now I always check wall and boiler stats first.
Before you ask the plumber was amused too!!!

With heating system that only use the pump for the central heating its a good idea to run the heating for a few minutes every week during the summer months, this will stop the pump from seizing up!0
