Advice Needed Please

Options
Hi,

My sister was unfortunate to buy one of the troubled HP dv6000 laptops. This was back on 06/11/2006.

Since then, she has had the following problems:-

May 2007 - Wireless adapter failed to work. - Repaired satisfactorily.
June 2007 - AC Adaptor Power cord failed. - Replacement delivered satisfactorily.
August 2007 - Wireless adapter failed 2nd time. - Returned to comet 26/08/07 - received back >6 weeks later.
May 2008 - Wireless adaptor failed third time.

July 2008 - Graphics card burnt out.

Today we have received the laptop back, the graphics card has been repaired, however on the repair note it states that the battery has some technical problens and will fail shortly - this has not been repaired(and is covered by the warranty enhancement).

As such we could advise her to create a new repair ticket, and get it sent away for repair AGAIN, but is there anything else anyone could advise?

The laptop is <2 years, well within the 2 year extended warranty service enhancement, however has suffered several faults, and will likely continue to do so.

Thanks,

Richard.
