help - I clearly need certifying! I'm taking my 3 month old baby on a last minute trip abroad this weekend. I'm not wanting to take his pram with us, as it's an expensive travel system, so I'm looking for a cheap pram, suitable for his age, easy to put up and down by a one-handed lone flier.
Does anyone know of any? Really, REALLY cheap? I'm thinking of popping to Lidl/Aldi later to see if they have one.
Thanks in advance!

Cheapest ones in Argos and on the tesco website are about £15 but are from 6 months+, only you can say if your baby would be OK in one of them for a couple of days. They don't lie back, so it depends on the size/strength of your baby. I did use one like this for a week abroad when my son was around 4 months and he was OK for short periods but wouldn't sleep in it. Otherwise, argos have this one: http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/3762060/c_1/1%7Ccat_10199769%7CClearance+nursery%7C10244452/Trail/searchtext%3EPUSH+CHAIR.htm for less than half price (£26) - it says six months+ but it does have a reclining seat so should be OK.

If you can't get a cheapie buggy, why not think about a sling? The IVF worked;DS born 2006.0

I have a sling, which I'm planning on using in the airport, but he gets very hot in it, so I'd be worried about him overheating. I might look at getting a thinner one, though."outside of a dog, a book is man's best friend. inside of a dog, it's too dark to read" - Groucho Marx0

Depending on where you're going, it might be cheaper and easier to buy one once you're there - as you've a baby sling to travel with....

have you checked online to see if you can hire one where you are going to?0

I'd also have a look on ebay - alter your settings to 'closest distance first' and see if there are any second hand ones local to you.The IVF worked;DS born 2006.0

I'd check the friday ads (online), they always have lots in my area.0

Are you are a member of freecycle? Quite often people have buggies on there.I don't get nearly enough credit for not being a violent psychopath.0

Angua2 - thank you, but I'm in East Yorkshire!
Freecycle's a good idea. I think I'll put a post on there.
The ones closest to me on Ebay are from private retailers, and they're very expensive.

Have you tried www.stuff4saleinhull.co.uk?
Make sure you read through all the pages, not just the first few with pics. There are 3-4 on there for under £30 right now.0
