Have you ever dealt with Alaska airlines?

These sort of email circulate everyday. You should ignore emails which you do not know and call you CC company regarding whether or not payment has been taken.

and to be brutally honest.... if it were an email from alaska airlines, it would have come from alaskaair.com, rather than branwell.com which is something to do with foods

Everybody here is absolutely right. It's spam! Delete it, blacklist the e-mail address and forget about it.

It sounds like the danger is in the attachment so definitely don't touch that. It's trying to scare you into opening the attachment which is likely to contain some malicious content such as a virus. Otherwise it could be a form of phishing which attempts to dupe you into giving up some form of personal data: "Fill in this form to verify your address and credit card details", that sort of thing which is a one way ticket to identity theft.
