Just applied for a joint account with Halifax

Does anyone know how long it will take for this to come through?
I have been with the Halifax myself now for about 7 years (basic visa electron account) - just applied for a joint account for my partner and I (easycash)
She has been turned down before when applying for the same account as mine; is it true easy cash does NOT do a credit check?
Any help gratefully received.

I don't know the answer but why do you want to associate yourself with someone that will affect your credit rating?0

easycash is the Halifax's basic banking account (no credit search) that you will not get refused for unless you have internal records for Bankruptcy or Fraud.
