Hello, is it possible to move savings from one ISA to another completely different one or do you have to start from scratch if you want to move?
e.g. if I have £10,000 in one ISA can I switch this over to another ISA and still be eligible to put another £7,200 in next year to make it £17,200?
thanks

yes, it is possible to switch ISA providers.
Make sure neither of the providers are treating this as a withdrawal and new deposit for that year.0 -
Easily done. You just need a transfer application from the new provider. it doesnt use any ISA allowance.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
