credit report?

Hiya, Ive done a credit report on OH (with his permission) and this is how it stands:

Alliance and Leicester £6,800
Barclays Bank £1,754
Barclays Credit Card £1,680
Capital One £679
1st Credit Limit £4,177
TBI Finance £737

Total £15,827

HOWEVER - as some of you may know we have Mackenzie hall (DCA) chasing for car finance of £15,000 - Now if im not mistaken, im pretty sure 1st credit is/was the car but I can not call them and OH refuses point blank to speak to any one. Now the other thing is - Mckenzie hall is not on the credit report - no i didnt expect DCA to be on there in the first place but how can they be chasing a 15k debt when the highest debt OH has is £4,177 ?? OH is getting an IVA (cccs wont speak to me, OH wont speak to ANYONE) but if the debt is £30k i would of said IVA best way forward but if its only £15k then a debt management would be better

Has anyone else seen anything that im probably missing and/or has debts of around 15k and doing a debt management instead of an iva?

is there a letter i can send to mckenzie hall to see what they are requesting 15k for?

Have you sought advice on the IVA? It is not for everyone. If it is from a company rather than one of the free debt charities, did they also mention they get about £5k for each one they set up?

If MH are chasing you for a car finance loan or HP loan, there will have been a credit agreement. You can request to see a copy of this. If they do not provide it with in 12(+2) working days, then the debt is unenforcable.

There are 3 credit reference agencies so all your debts may not be listed on just one of them.

I suggest you post up a SOA and we'll see if there are any savings you can make and if you have any other debts with a DCA, it may be worth requesting the CCA from them too.
