We have heard about this (we suppky) so beware if you want to buy some, as many co's are mail order only. Another trick is to supply different quality samples to the ordered stuff. Beware.

Thanks - there is definately something funny about this one - I remember applying for a sample about two years ago (I wanted to do a display) and never hearing anything and in the last couple of weeks saw the same advert on this site and applied again only to get stung for the potage with no sample.

I forgot to mention that when I called about the postage charge not only was the blame placed on a Temp but also blame placed on new business manager: I was told that a new business Manager decided that if the proposed turf coverage (given on application) was too low then just a brouchure would be sent as it was not financially viable to send to small proposals.Perhaps they should have mentioned this before inviting sample requests!!

Pip26 dont suppose you still have the letter with a conatct number??

No, sorry. There was a rubbish bin outside the Sorting Office where I went to collect (and pay for!) my 'parcel'. After I opened it (sorry to say , in great excitment!) and saw what it was, I put it straight in the bin!

    I done the exact same!

I was so annoyed with this as I had to jump on the hopper bus to get to the sorting office and pay for this and end up with a brochure!

This is now in a landfill site along with many others no doubt!
