Hi everyone ...... back from hols here and had a good time despite the weather ! We also stuck to our spending budget so I was really pleased :D

Been catching up so haven't really had time to think about much but yesterday I:
    • Chose a birthday present for my cousin from my 'boots stash' - wrapped up and card written (card from my big box of cards & wrapping paper that my mum gave me as a moving in present).
    • Booked next year's holiday using clubcard vouchers :j . First year EVER that our holiday has been paid for a year in advance !
    • Sorted out some Christmas  (I know, I know !) presents - again from boots stash. Will wrap them up next weekend when hubby gets in the loft and finds all the reduced wrapping paper I got last year. I have a huge family and we all buy gifts for each other so it takes me a few months to organise everything !
    • Emptied the water butt into buckets so that it could fill up again (rained heavy last night so full again as predicted :D )
    • Cooked roast lamb dinner with reduced leg of lamb
    Today so far:
    • Done a wash and hung out on the line (sun shining here and breezy so may get another one done yet !)
    • Had breakfast (brown bread toast and some homemade raspberry jam (yum!)
    • Watered the greenhouse using water from butt (on a water meter so need to do this !)
    • Been and picked some courgettes to make courgette chutney later today
    • Sorted out a 'petrol money purse'. Hubby gets his petrol money back for business miles (plus a bit extra now the price of petrol has gone down - his mileage allowance went up a couple of months ago :T ). So plan is to have a 'float' and any extra that is in there at the end of the month will be put away for next year's holiday spending money.
    Still want to:
    • Check surveys, P/Back etc
    • Arrange to transfer some money into savings account
    • Look for another savings account/possible ISA
Think that's it for now ! Good to be back and have a 'focus' !

    Hope everyone is well xx

Well, bit of a crap day for me:(. Went out to do a mystery shop and spent twenty minutes looking for it, went into another one of their stores and no one had heard of it! Feel like i have wasted my time and my money getting there. However, on a plus note, i did a mystery shop for a company i used to work for, in an attempt to get back in the loop with them. Job went well, pays good as well, came home to find an email from them that they send out to all their workers, telling me of jobs they had available. None in my area, but at least i feel like i'm back in the loop now:rotfl:Have also managed to pick up another mystery shop and found that another one of my items on ebay has a bid on it, so not all bad:D Also bought a mobile storage type unit, for my new business, doubles up as a top for the oils when massaging and somewhere to store the towels. Had been meaning to buy it for ages, but decided i would buy it today, just as well as they have reduced it by £4.00, so even more of a bargain!!

Have also checked internet banking, not so great:o However money has come in from one bookie so can finally place another matched bet. No one wants to give up their microwave on freecylce, but have inquired about something else instead:rotfl:
