I want to block and filter content on the Internet for my children.
What software are you using and would you recommend it.
Any advice would be welcome.

Hi Hythers,
I have moved your thread over to the techie board, where hopefully you will get more replies.

Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. I've just checked the links about child security and they all work. I'll check the rest on the page too.Hythers wrote:All of the links on that page end with the following message:

I've removed some of the links - they linked to the old site and now don't work. Thanks for pointing it out.Torgwen..........

You could always sign up for a BTYahoo PAYG account and use their parental control software and browser for free. It also allows you to contral email, limit time on internet etc. I believe you only have to dial in every now and then to keep the account active (though I only dial in once every 3 months or so). This will give you 1 main account and up to 4 sub accounts (which can be used for kids).
You do not have to dial in using BT to use the software, browser and parental controls. To infinity and beyond!0 -
Have a look for netnanny - http://www.netnanny.com/ they offer a free trial so you can see what it does.0
