new house-time to change suppliers

we are moving in a few weeks and i'd like to start a fresh with new energy suppliers but i just don't know where to start to choose the best/cheapest ones. Any advice/ ideas would be great.

Hi smithy....register first with the existing suppliers.
Then use the national average figures in a comparison site.Best to use one site initially.
Not all the price increases are in yet so Southeren Energy should come near the top.
Do you have annual consumption figures from where you live now ?0 -
Why do you want to switch?
Any contracts with previous occupiers will not affect you and your account with that supplier. When you set up an account with them you will be 'starting afresh'.
If you don't know where to start or what your annual consumption figures are likely to be, the words fryingpan, jumping & fire are coming to mind.
