Call quality is poor with just dial???

Has anyone had any problems with call quality since switching to just dial?

I have switched from BT to them and now my calls are crackling on both ends!!!



Getting annoyed with it. Is there anything I can do?

If it doesn't change I'm going back to BT for the few quid difference it costs me.

  • No probs with mine. Moved from TalkTalk to JDS and quality is just as good. Do you get the same problem if you dial the 1280 prefix before a call to CPS override?

  • I get the problem whether It's incoming, outgoing or outgoing non-JDS?

    I'm going to try a different phone tonight to make sure it's not that but I'm pretty sure something has happened to my phone line???

  • Have you tried reporting the fault to BT?,any problems with the line quality is still down to them as your line rental is still with them.

    Not strictly true. Outgoing call quality could be JDS and/or BT at fault.

    If you have problems whether its incoming or outgoing then its not JDS because all incoming calls are still handled by BT and not JDS. JDS only deal with outgoing calls. The only time JDS may be at fault is if the incoming call is from someone who is using JDS themselves.
