where to buy replacement back for wardrobe

Hi, I need to replace the boards at the back of the wardrobes. The ones you have to nail on. Where is the best place to buy them from.

just measure them up and buy a piece of hardboard from any harware store.

Most will cut it to size for you.

Yes I would second shady pants. It's really easy and most local places will deliver for either a small charge or for free if they are really local.

you can get hardboard in many colours, usually its plain wood colour, but white is easy to find.

I am sure a wood merchant would sell you some pine "coloured" board.

What were the origional back panels made from?

they are made of thin chipboard with pine colour fronting, I would like to replace them to sell the wardrobe on.
