I sold my first item on ebay, and the buyer paid by paypal. However, I need to confirm my email address to use my paypal account.
I've sent the email confirmation thing to my email account several times, and it hasn't arrived. I know my email address is right as I've had other emails from paypal. I used the "contact us for help" link on paypal to see if they could help, and all I got was an email telling me how to input the 20 digit confirmation number if my email browser doesn't support HTML.
But I haven't received the confirmation email!

Are you using Hotmail? Check it's not gone into your 'junk' folder, items from Paypal and Ebay frequently do.0

Paypal can be very tempermental! It probably isn't you, I get all sorts of problems using it!! ::)

I also think Hotmail may be having problems as I am getting some really delayed messages into my inbox.

Hotmail has been a nightmare for the last few days. I sold an item on Thursday and have only just received the email from Paypal confirming payment on Sunday Morning! Not Paypal's fault, Hotmail has had a huge slow down.
I just checked directly with Paypal to get confirmation and the item was sent the day after the auction had finished0 -
I deliberately didn't use my Hotmail account as I thought I'd have problems.

I have had a similar problem, except the seller can't send me and invoice!! ...buys me more time!!
