Pse Recommend A Lead to Connect PC ( VGA) to a LCD TV ( Scart)

Might seem apparent answer, ive looked on ebay and two sellers appear to be selling the same lead, one says " Please Note this is not to connect pc from moniter port to tv or vcr etc "

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2M-SCART-LEAD-TO-VGA-15-PIN-HD-SVGA-CABLE-SENT-NOW_W0QQitemZ120291882458QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item120291882458&_trkparms=72%3A1121%7C39%3A1%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C240%3A1318&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14

Other indicates that it is suitable for PC-LCD TV

A lot of modern graphics cards have composite outputs. This would be a much easier way of doing things. Composite to scart adapters are about $3 on deal extreme. You could buy a cheapie second graphics card with composite TV-out from a well known auction site for probably a fiver or so, so long as your PC had a free slot of the correct type.

As far as I know, going directly from VGA to scart isn't technically possible, without a (fairly expensive) bit of converter circuitry in between. I'd have serious doubts about those sellers on eBay.

By composite output do u mean the small round connection on the graphic card. TV also has the other type of connection ( the type that original XBOX used without a scart adaptor,( yellow, white and red connections)

Can u post some links showing suitable leads pse. ;)

Yep, the small round yellow one.

Something like this would do it:

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2M-COMPOSITE-VIDEO-3-5MM-AUDIO-SCART-PC-TO-TV-CABLE-KIT_W0QQitemZ330262713586QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item330262713586&_trkparms=72:1121|39%3A1|66%3A2|65%3A12|240%3A1318&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14

Or one of these with one of these and one of these for the computer audio out.

It's an analogue signal so the quality of the cables and interconnects will make a difference, although a Standard Definition TV for computer work is blurry at the best of times.

You might also have to change some settings to get the computer to put a signal through the TV out, shouldn't be hard though, there should be a setting in Start > Settings > Control Panel > Display (assuming windows XP)
