Oasis Tickets

Please beware of this site

http://www.worldticketshop.com/

They have tickets for sale that don't go on sale until 20th August there is NO Presale for this event so they don't have any tickets.

They are also selling at very inflated prices.
The only agents selling for this event is the actual arean's and See Tickets don't be fooled by them.

I know this as fact as I work for 1 of the arena's

They are not an official agent, but that does not warrant posting about them under Warnings and Rip Offs.

WTS are a broker that source tickets for high demand events, and sell them on at a premium. Some people are happy to pay a premium in order to receive good tickets, and WTS service this demand.

If someone is happy to pay the price, I don't see why it is a rip off?
    Gone ... or have I?

How can they sell tickets for an event that is not even on sale yet.
Obviously they do not have the tickets to sell.

That is why there is so much bad publicity about such things that happen like this these firms are not genuine agents and just prey on fans by charging inflated price but half the time they never source tickets for events leaving genuine fans out of pocket and not even getting into the event the have so called booked for.

In my book if that's not a Rip Off then what is?

In the same way that amazon can take orders for books that are not out yet. They take orders in advance, and will then source the tickets and deliver them as soon as they are available.

Do you have any evidence that this particular company has stolen money from people? If not, I suggest you do a little research before spreading unsubstanciated rumours on the internet.

I'm no fan of companies reselling tiekets for events that are sold out at inflated prices, but it's not illegal.

technically..... yes they are probably doing nothing illegal.

However, you can dress it up anyway you like, but they are still touts.

As a regular gig goer I consider them parasites and they deserve all the bad press they might get.

    :T WELL SAID

I know that there is only 1 authorized ticket agent with an allocation of tickets for Oasis apart from the Arena's involved.

dmg24. Have you never watched a tv programme called Watchdog where they exposed a simular company doing just what this company are doing, As the previous poster said they are parasites. I know some fans will go to any lengths to see their idols live and pay any amount for tickets.
How many fans will be disappointed when their highly inflated tickets don't arrive and they have lost their money.
All I am saying is beware.
    We see it everyday.
Have you ever used them is that why your so supportive?
  • I do not normally post 'good reviews' but when it is necessary to clear up.. I recently purchased tickets for the Oasis gig in Liverpool, although it was expensive I used https://www.sohotickets.com who actually sent the tickets today to my house and therefore I am very happy with the service they offered. Just a recommendation ...
