Just what is a nintendo N5 for the DS?

My daughter has her 9th birthday in a month and keeps on about her friend having this N5. I have no idea what she is talking about, but she is adamant they are available..

    They (N5's) are not illegal as such as they can be used for other things but if games are downloaded and then used in a ds it then becomes illegal.

    They are not illegal, but it is illegal to download pirate copies of games (obviously). I think this is the problem and I seem to remember that Nintendo is trying to get them to be illegal for that reason.

    Go for it! It is fantastic to back up any games your daughter has! We got ours from memorybits with cashback as well quite a while ago.
