I have spent hours online this morning trying to find a supplier of 1 little bit of wood!
We have a White gloss WC unit that came without a top access panel/countertop/worktop and I need to get one quick in the right size.
510mm by 290mm White gloss
Does anyone know how I can get one made and posted online?
WICKES do the closest size but take weeks to get it and would still need cutting to shape.
Please help!

go to your local hardware shop, B+Q or kitchen manufacturers and get one cut to size. Ordering something like that over the internet would end up very expensive.0

Funnily enough i'm currently looking into back-to-wall wc's and considering whether to build my own unit.
Fairly expensive but the nearest thing i've seen to what your after is
http://www.bathrooms365.com/acatalog/Ideal_Standard_Bathroom_Worktops.html
...that should be about the right width (ideal standard units are 285mm width i believe) but you'll have to cut the length and get some matching edging strip.
I think Bathstore also sell similar sized worktops so may be worth checking out.
The alternative is to buy a long length of worktop from a DIY store and waste loads of it ..or as was suggested to me here try and get an offcut for nothing.
The cheap alternative is to make your own panel using a piece of plywood and tile it - which is what i'm intending to do for a unit for the washbasin as it will be a non-standard depth (about 640mm).
Whatever you use make sure you leave a means of removing the panel.
Hope that helps

Thanks for your help everyone.
After a long day doing a tour of all the DIY stores (not one stocks bathroom worktop, only kitchen ones!) I came up with the perfect solution.
:j B&Q white gloss door from their modular bathroom furniture range.
590 x 297 mm. Lovely chap in store cut the end off for me and put it back in the box! The cut edge goes in the corner and my unit is now complete. You really cannot tell it did not come witht the base.
30 quid job done.0
