Verbatim Photo Printable Blank DVD's

I can print on these discs without buying labels - I thought ???.

Looking at the svp site it states the following:

When combined with a colour inkjet printer such as the Epson R265, users can print photo-quality images directly to the disc surface to customise their CDs and DVDs.

I am now confused - how the heck can you print on the disc via your printer??? I thought it would be a case of burn - turn over - burn image - all via computer . Can someone put me out of my confused state of mind and explain please???? Thanks :rolleyes: .

The Epson has a CD tray, you put the DVD/CD in and it prints onb the surface.
The DVD you mention just has a photo printable surface on it so you just print on it as you would on photo paper (The tray goes in the printer from the front and flat).

There is no way you can burn a picture using a PC on these discs, (Thats a Lightscribe disc you need for that (and a lightscribe drive)

Ahhh! Thanks Vicky - explaination very good! I've got a HP Photosmart C4180. Don't need to worry about whether or not the disc is photo printable then - oh well carry on with the labels :).
