Soapnuts

Options
I just wanted to reccomend these as being eco-friendly, skin friendly and most importantly, uber cheap :D they are a natural by-product of the pharmeceutical industry and a natural source of soap; only thing is they don't contain bleach so they are a bit crap with white washes, and I always add some fabric softener to give the wash a scent (as essential oils can warp the detergent drawer). I think they're brill and they work out as 25p a wash. Also they can be reused up to 6-8 times and they aren't a brand, so this isn't spam :p - it's a bit like a thread saying soap is great.
