Does anyone know of anything touristy worth paying a visit to while we're there? I've booked the Monday off work (in case I need recovery time
), so I was thinking that I might fancy doing a bit of sightseeing on the Sunday afternoon before heading back to London. We have to check out by 12 noon on the Sunday, but I've just rung them & the woman said it would be OK to leave luggage behind reception if we wanted to do some sightseeing in the afternoon before heading home.

Hi Dalip, and all you other lovely peeps, have a great time at the meet. I am sure you will. We have ours a week on saturday. Soooooo looking forward to it. If i had not been working this weekend i would have been tempted to come and gatecrash your meet. Thats if you would have me. I hope to meet some of you from here one day. Never been into the them and us kind of thing. Dalip thank you for your best wishes for our meet.
Have fun everyone. And if its like our last meet then you will see that everyone is as lovely in the flesh as they are on here. And you will make some really close friends.

Anne scoots off to get iron out of cupboard unzips case and pulls out crumpled clothes.....ironing ye gods the things you have to do when you first meet folk,if its not my hair sticking up (cheapo haircut at local college, the apprentice got a bit scissor happy!!!:eek: :eek: ) and my baggy trousers nearly falling down with the weight I lost on this BR journey (and no Im no svelte figure either :rotfl: :rotfl: ) then its blinkin ironing, OH`s clothes are pristine and well ironed he was in the Army he keeps telling me, blimey love doesnt depend on well pressed clothes :eek: but he assures me the lovey bits dont extend to ironing my clothes either( he has a lot to learn yet!!!)
