  • Had a fairly good day today:

    * 2 loads of washing at 30 and then out to dry on the line
    * Got OH to jump into the skip and squash everything down as much as possible so would could fit more in (£75 for the smallest skip, i wanna pack stuff in it....)
    * OH borrowed some gardening tools off his parents and came home with a lot more (whole bag of frozen meat they no longer wanted, BBQ anyone??? hehehe, 2 new phones for us, they've upgraded and gave us the old ones)
    * Listed our old phones on freecycle, yes could of sold them on ebay, but we got new ones for free, so wanted to pass the kindness onto others.

Hi everyone. I walked for 40 mins to get to ASDA to take advantage of some of their 50p offers rather than go to my nearest supermarket.

Although, ended up spending £12 on a new pair of jeans when I got there (which is fine and budgetted for as my present ones are 2 years old and covered in holes but they were only £8 from Primark so I got my monies worth!)

Also put my washing out on the line and had a days entertainment watching the Olympics, doing the washing and hanging it out on the line, watching some old DVDs (Enter the Dragon and The Office Xmas specials!) plus writing 2 letters to both Halifax and Sainsburys telling them to refund interest they've been applying to my account despite being in a dispute. If they agree, that'll be £200 wiped off my remaining credit card bills.
Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!

I didn't go to the cricket like I was going to. Crap, but it still means something.

    Evening all,

My dfw things for today (not many!!):
    • Brought cineme ticket seperately so I could use the dsicount coupon given on first ticket on mines (saving £1.50)
    • Brought DS fruit pastilles in Boots usng points
    • Gave DS the free milkshake (voucher was in D Star)
    • Didn't buy him popcorn and juice for kids in cinema as he was happy with the above
    • Had my own water from earlier so didn't buy a drink at the cinema (although I rarely ever do)
    • Found 1p
    • Co-op - collected my free spice seasoning from voucher in yesterdays Express and got 2 tubs of cheeries for 20p
    • Used a few money off coupons in Asda and got 1 x 6pk of their SP eggs for 50p
    • Sold 2 Ebay items which I paid under £3 for. Sold both items for £27 but still need to take off fees etc - in profit though
    • Will make a point of using the £5 off £30 spend at Tesco voucher from NOTW. Normally I'd be delighted but we don't really need anything (food wise) - might ask family members if they need anything to bump up spend
That's all I can think of.
    Tesco points: 101 (£21.50, £19.50, £7.50, £21 & £5)
    Boots points: £0.28
    Pigsback points: 715 (4 xBoots£10 & 1 xPizzaHut£10, 2 x £10 clothing vouchers)

kalojac - hang on a few weeks for the toys on ebay, will get more for them when kids go back to school and people start thinking about christmas. I am a VERY experienced ebayer and found this better over previous years.
