Step daughter's computer's USB ports have stopped working. She's tried looking for updated USB drivers, and has made sure that all her windows updates are working.
Any suggestions on what could be wrong?

see the idiot who posts and then deletes their replies has been at it again
makes it hard for anyone else to see whats been posted and suggest further ideas
have you tried deleting the USB ports from device manager and then rebooting to let them detect again ??
tried System restore to go back a little while ??Ex forum ambassador
