Its not a big hotel! Its actually about a 5 minute walk from me, so I could report back, but just made other plans;).0

From reading the posts on the other site, I believe that the person who is selling the items is emigrating, so is having a huge clear out. Sorry can't be of any further help but I thought that it might be of use to someone.0

unusual to have so many of each that you would include them in a list of house clearance items.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0 -
Hmm,do we suspect another of those fly by night 'auctions' where they need heavies on the door?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. why?ive known them to be hosted in large hotels in Edinburgh such as the Marriot
It isn't by any means a large hotel, more Fawlty Towers than Hilton Towers. I'm guessing it will be two tressle tables of goods. The bogus auctions would tend to include computers and electrical goods before they mentioned pencil cases..0 -
It sounds fun to me! If I was nearer I would go along and take a look!:T0
