Water Damaged Wii - is it gone for ever??

    I've had a couple of electrical devices (e.g. radio) that got wet, and stopped working. In both cases I left them to dry out for a week, and they both started working again.
    Of course, I may just be talking b****cks!

    Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for the advice that you gave me. I never managed to open it up but it switched on this morning, but to be sure i am going to leave it for a few days before using it.

    I really thought it was ruined, so your advice has been great.

    That's very encouraging news. I think you're wise to leave it a bit longer to ensure all the moisture is gone, and hopefully your Wii will give many more years service.
