Hi all
Am looking to change suppliers for the first time
I'm currently with BG for gas & elec and am paying £20 & £18 by dd.
The comparison sites say i should swap to scottish power, closely followed by powergen.
my question is, are any of these 2 about to have a price rise or have they both already had them?
Also are they both hassle free to change to?
Cheers
Brighty

both scottish power and powergen have had a price increase recently, however, scottish power have another one due in jan.
however, from you post it appears that you have based your consumption on dd payments. what you should do is recalculate the prices based on annual consumption, and you may get different figures.
with all the price increases though, i would suggest a capped price tariff.Beware the green?0 -
Thanks for the reply.
Will do, however there's been a big change in circumstances in the house lately, going from 3 down to 2 of us a few months ago and as of next week i'll be all on my own :'(. I'll put in last years usage, see who comes top, then i'll drop it a bit and see if it changes. We were paying £30 for gas but had built up £100 credit which they've payed back, i dropped it to £20 last month.
Who does capped rates?0
