It has done before - I noticed it once whilst I was watching a video - it stuttered and stalled and wouldn't play, but it's not everytime I watch a video.
Having said that, everytime it starts I can hear the fan going mental and trying to cool it off.
[That's about as technical as I get]

I've come across this with a DV6095 belonging to my boss's son.
It seems the whole machine is poorly designed especially regarding the nVidia 7 graphics.
Good luck with the enhanced warranty, but we found that although the DV6000 range is included, it actually comes down to the precise product number.
The HP forums are full of disgruntled owners, many like you having had several repairs, and still having problems even after the BIOS update.
At least yours is still working, his graphics are totally gone, 2years and £700+, does not equal good value.
Regarding Apple v Windows, posting this from 350mhz Pentium, 192mb RAM, 1.5Gb HD, SeaMonkey browser on Puppy Linux.
Total cost of system, 20p for the CD to burn the Puppy Linux .isoMove along, nothing to see.0 -

I guess I'm lucky enough that it's still in warranty but eh... I can't say I'm overly impressed by it0
